The Role of Electrical Engineering Students in Facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0

The industrial revolution 4.0 will permeate any economic joint. The idea of the dominant economic digitization involves high technology in economic activities, and in the end the Labour force which is engaged is being pushed aside by higher unemployment. This challenge needs to be answered with increased competency primarily for computer technology mastery, communication skills, collaborative collaborative skills, and the ability to continue learning and adaptive to environmental change. Here is the role of a student who is not only a connoisseuse of ease of access in this modern era but, how are students addressing an industrial revolution. Students can benefit from today's economic digitization, but only if we prepare well enough. To anticipate the industrial revolution 4.0, it is important to :
1.      Increase the competitiveness of human resources
            We are not competing with our fellow indonesians anymore but also competing with other foreign talents. It is our responsibility as the next generation of Indonesia to equip ourselves with competitive talent through a competitive education program.
2.      A knowledge - based economy
 Indonesia already experienced shortages of natural resources. Therefore, Indonesia has many reasons to go from a country based in natural resources to a country based on creativity and information. This is evident during a crisis that occurred a few years ago. Indonesia's central bank/bi governor burhanuddin abdullah said the central bank's plan to raise the bi rate by 25 basis points. On top of that, it would also open up job opportunities for the local talent.

Innovation is a big problem for Indonesia, because we're used to free-thinking as kids. So we must have the ability to harness technology, and this is what drive Indonesia to move quickly. Industry 4.0 is the evolved industry of first, second, third industry-sustainable technology. It requires, therefore, competent people, knowledgeable about information, and ignorance about the big data. So, the industry 4.0 brought tik into manufacturing which aimed at developing the smart factory with a fully regulated production system. Beyond perceptions of technology, industry 4.0 Can be understood as hostile to technology and the concept of the organizational value chain. The birth of human labor shift to digitization isa challenge that students need to respond to.
How could the student body be able to maintain Indonesian economic stability, especially in lower middle classes, could not possibly keep up with the economic growth target of 4.0. There's always two sides to every new initiative. If Indonesia provides education, education, education and education, it will be able to create educational and economic autonomy.

A student must take an active role in community service, reducing his office and transforming his consumer into productive economic activity. Currently, the underwriters are required to promote the stability of the lower middle and machine world.
